History: He comes from a rich western family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: She is a physically imposing dark-skinned woman. She wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants. Her white hair is greasy and uncared for. Her hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting giants, the young Matilda began to lead the lost caravan. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away.

Description: This southern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a simple black robe with grey stripes complete with hood. Her black crest is knotted and matted. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. Blendaeth enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Blendaeth was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Servant, but she got bored and became a Interpreter. She tends to her Interpreter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born in the east. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and she feels threatened by others

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Valanthe embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
