History: The child of a Apothecary, who enjoyed hunting, Merla was taken on many hunting expeditions. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Jarsali was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Jarsali's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.
