History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He married young, but lost his spouse to gnolls. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: He wears a white shirt with thin tan vertical stripes and yellow pants. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He wears his black hair up in a very large beehive style do. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a Detective, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears a tan collared shirt and red skirt. She accessorizes with a yellow scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across her shirt. Her hair is black, silky, and of moderate length. Her eyes are violet and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carter. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire.

Description: She stands about 4'11" and is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. She wears her silver hair down. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is an amazing painter.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Description: This man stands a little under 6'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He prefers to wear flannel. His bronze crest is lengthy. His ears are large.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hirrathak grew up listening to his mother's many stories. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.
