Personality: Mary speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Miner but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. Chad is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Chad was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

She wears a top hat to cover her moderate length auburn hair. She has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Althaea grew up listening to her mother's many stories. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
