History: Baern was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but he was a colossal failure. During his travels, Baern and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Baern discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Baern fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Ûgakûga was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bowyer for the past few years.
