Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Barendd embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This southern man is renowned for his bright brown suits and hats. His clothes are grease stained in places. His lavender fur is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Emerald grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He is baby faced.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mason work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mason work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears a tan small hat and tan clothes. Her golden hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady brown eyes.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and to pay off her debts

Description: 5'5" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears a tan shirt, with a green mid length shorts with green tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. He has a very tight haircut. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Suhnae grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Suhnae. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he loathes his own lifestyle
