Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears dull black sweaters, loose white pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed falchion, just in case. His chestnut hair is singed and shortened. His white eyes peer out from beneath his feathered black hat.

Personality: He hates Tieflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born in the east. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 6'2" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her gray fur is unkempt and raggedy. She has gleaming, smiling copper eyes.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: This western woman likes to wear white tank tops with black skirt. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her black hair is well kept. Her half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she prefers to wear flannel. Her orange fur is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are amber.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. A true patriot, Serpent would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Serpent hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Barber work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barber work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
