History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Veloptima grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Veloptima. She's also a talented Knight, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bundrigo is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bundrigo fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Zaffrab grew up listening to his father's many stories. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Burana was born on a far western mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Dilettante. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
