History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Interpreter for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and a deep hatred of goblins

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Corkitron hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barber for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: She is a woman of bearing and well nourished. She is dressed in an above average manner. Her chestnut hair is thinning but still full. This hazel eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has achieved small success as a Map Maker.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing her hectic life and new map maker responsibilities is difficult

He carries with him a set of rapiers, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has a silver handlebar mustache and slicked back silver hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Gardain hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Gardain alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gardain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.
