History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bendoo was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears long strands of opal and short brown dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. Her moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. A true patriot, Helja would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When Helja reached her early adolescence her Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He became a Shoemaker soon after.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: Sweet was born with her father's beautiful face. Sweet was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Map Maker. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it; and many drow want her driven away
