History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. River liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Engraver.
