She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the west to a Seamstress, Elysande learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Seamstress. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

History: Born to a Sellsword, her father struggled to pay the bills. She worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
