Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is light but he possesses many blue ritualistic tattoos. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sai with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Servant. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Servant for the past few years.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a servant and was forced into it by his family

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. She keeps her long dark red hair kept up in a rat tail. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A freak accident while working with her Architect father left her crippled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Description: She is a physically imposing light-skinned woman. She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her blonde hair is lengthy. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Valanthe was born the youngest of three triplets. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fletcher and was forced into it by her family.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and further expansion of business
