Description: A moderately attractive man, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing pastel cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. He wears his white fur down. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Serpent and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This man is well dressed, constantly wearing a green suit, black shirt, and grey tie, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His scarlet crest, when down, is lengthy. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered illithids who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he likes to wear ponchos typically of a light tan in addition to tight pants. His golden hair is unkempt and raggedy. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Frug was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.
