Through the years after Andraste was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Andraste's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: She is a husky woman, who wears many layers of old clothing at all times. She has black fur. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady hazel eyes.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
