Description: A middle-aged man, he wears tattered old clothes, and is pretty ugly. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Tiefling culture. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Tim was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: This fat northern woman has a bulbous nose and wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She has done her best to style her blonde hair to look like a famous performer. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Birel was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Birel's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. She is physically well-built. With bright red hair. She has a dull look in her hazel eyes.

Personality: Hadwisa is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Hadwisa was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: She is a husky woman, who is dressed in a clean black cloak covering her clean studded leather. Her black hair is unkempt and raggedy. This gold eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gadreel grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a yellow vest and prefers violet and blue shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born into a rich family. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it
