History: Born in the north to a Farmer, Qualen learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Farmer. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She sports grey clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Seamstress. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Seamstress responsibilities is difficult.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
