Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Scribe born in the past three hundred years. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Matilda was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now owns her own business.

History: Gifted from a young age, Yevelda studied abroad. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. She now owns her own business.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and is pretty ugly. He has a white handlebar mustache and slicked back white hair. This green eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and many giants want him driven away
