Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Bricklayer born in the past three hundred years. The war was a terrible time for her, and Pelt does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bricklayer. She became a Bricklayer soon after.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a worn and beaten armor, and is pretty ugly. Her long red hair reaches down to her waist. Her eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Eida embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Layabout. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and balancing her hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Her golden hair is unkempt and raggedy. This hazel eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This fat northern woman has a bulbous nose and is generally shirtless and showing off her tattooed chest. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her white hair is wavy and long. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She got into the Crown-heir business at a young age. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
