History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to get a good night's sleep
