History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gardain grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Anthony lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Description: This eastern woman dresses like a well dressed Spice Merchant does. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady green eyes.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Born in the east to a Spice Merchant, Melissa learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. She's also a talented Fortune-teller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Fortune-teller again.

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. Her hair is black, silky, and of moderate length. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She uses divination through singing.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Carter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she's looking for her big break

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. His red hair is singed and shortened. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. Adrik is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
