Description: This northern man wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has no crest. His eyes are red and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nykkan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Ownka is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Meriele was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
