History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Ahinar was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Engraver. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. Simon is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Armorer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He wears a black cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. This red eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She bought a hammer and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by her family; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
