Greeba grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Greeba. After months of barely getting by, Greeba managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mindartis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her childhood dream was to be a Carter, but she was a colossal failure. She became a Cook soon after.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Justin has worked very hard to control his curse. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
