History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Nyx abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Margery was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Margery decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. After a long history of fighting, Margery and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has all his life been fascinated with dancing.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ribbles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
