During her travels, Arava and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Arava discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Arava fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Born in the south to a Locksmith, Katherine learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Locksmith for hire.
