History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a tan costume with the symbols of luck on her torso. She has no hair. Her eyes are violet and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Orla is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is typically in his Sage uniform. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Pog wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
