History: Naal hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Naal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sariel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
