History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Nalaed was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Nalaed's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Nalaed and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
