History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kite grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kite. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Ulla was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She tends to her Animal Trainer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Butcher arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now mingles about in high society.

He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a Map Maker soon after.
