She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears tattered old clothes. He wears his brown hair up. He has violet eyes.

Personality: Hugh is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hugh is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Gardener, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
