Personality: She is mildly Halfling supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Detective business.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Merla was born on a far western forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Detective. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: He wears tattered old clothes. He carries with him a set of scythes, each one with a amber on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His blonde hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and someone believes him a fraud

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She has the majority of her body covered in plate. She wears a colorful flower in her green crest. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She got into the Sellsword business at a young age. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has achieved small success as a Sellsword.

Motivation: To be a Miner again.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
