History: Born in the west to a Barrister, Olivia learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Barrister. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Dilettante. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Seraphina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and doesn't want to be a herbalist and was forced into it by her family

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
