When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Emma hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Sellsword responsibilities is difficult.
