History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Description: An older man who is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, he is not a threatening figure. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. His violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are white.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. After coming to the age of reason, Paymon took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paymon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This woman stands a little under 3'3" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. Her brown hair is wavy and long. Her violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Sage born in the past three hundred years. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has worked as a Sage like her father before her.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: She has a missing right arm. She wears a simple tan robe with grey stripes complete with hood. She wears her blonde hair down. Her skin is flawless and her violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered illithids who tried to eat her hand. After a long history of fighting, Zanna and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.
