Personality: She is happy with her job as a Spy. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. The war was a terrible time for her, and Pogranix does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Kugáluga was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes drow are coming to abduct people. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Her parents were killed by drow in a raid when she was still a young child. The drow captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want her driven away; and she feels threatened by others
