History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ribbles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the east to a Animal Trainer, Bethrynna learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born in the north. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
