Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Nadarr wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Nadarr was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He struck the Herbalist job and began his own company from there.

Description: 3'3" and muscular, this eastern man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. Kipper is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Kipper was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.
