History: Born in the east to a Dyer, Ulfgar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has worked as a Dyer like his mother before him.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Tod hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of giants

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Cartwright father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Symma was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
