Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Eleanor was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Eleanor's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Barrister. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 3 years.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Balifra's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of brigands

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born in the south to a Assassin, Leucis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He struck the Assassin job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Assassin responsibilities is difficult.

She prefers to carry a greataxe, but if one is not available she will default to her longbow. Her chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by her family; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people
