Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Description: He wears tattered old clothes. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his nunchaku, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. He has shaved his head bald. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: He is typically in his Carter uniform, and he perpetually has his pickaxe ready. His long black hair reaches down to his waist. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep grey leather and dull black iron scale mail. His brown hair is braided into rings. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His first spouse was a Soapmaker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he dresses in blue turtlenecks beneath a grey coat with pastel slacks. He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length blonde hair. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Uthemar was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now mingles about in high society.
