History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Spring has worked very hard to control her curse. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
