History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Therlin was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Slave Trader. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
