Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Personality: Adelaide hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
