History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Cockaby and his spouse have recently divorced.

She has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She has all her life been fascinated with writing.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Thea has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and wants her loneliness to end
