Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. The war was a terrible time for him, and Zaffrab does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Zaffrab was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Perra was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Perra decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Ruloth liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well.
