Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Paela was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Paela's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Stableman for the past few years.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying west to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Makaria was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: She wants revenge against goblins.
