Description: A middle-aged man, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and is pretty ugly. He sports a flattop hair cut. His gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hamil embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. After a long history of fighting, Hamil and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Anakis was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His white hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are violet and beady.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He's in love; and money/treasure

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her hair is long and blonde with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small violet clips. She has gleaming, smiling green eyes.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Spy hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Being a Spy kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
