History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chad grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a Roofer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.

Description: He wears an entirely red suit with white socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He keeps his long black hair kept up in a rat tail. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Bucklal was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Beggar but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Lewis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Beggar, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Beggar and was forced into it by his family; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
