Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Qualen embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. Her first spouse was a Merchant, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Trail and her spouse have recently divorced.
